Empire Review Good film, shitty ending - 3.75 out of 5  (7/17/2003) When you mention the movie THE LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN, you usually hear something akin to the following statement. "Good Movie, Shitty Ending." Of course, I cleaned it up a bit for our family viewing audience, but you get the idea. But I have to admit the movie holds a warm place in my heart because it has the distinction of being one of the meanest 1980 sex comedies ever made.
